Group chairman Peter Wickens and staff collect the Best Big Company Award at London's Battersea Evolution in February 2008 From 8th position in the Sunday Times 20 Best Big Companies 2008 Survey, to NCE/ACE’s International Consultant of the Year for 2008, to the Public Private Finance’s Best Technical Advisor in the last two years – the awards we’ve received in recognition of our achievements come in many forms.

Among our recent wins is the London Excellence award for Corporate Social Responsibility. This prestigious award recognises those who have shown the greatest commitment to policies and practices that measure and deliver environmental and social benefits, over and above regulator requirements, in response to the expectations of stakeholders and society.

We’re equally proud of our staff’s professional achievements. From Alistair Hitchcock’s win in the 2008 Construction’s Future Leaders, to Richard McGowan named as Institution of Civil Engineering’s Mentor of the Year, to Ian Flower’s award of an OBE in the Queen’s Honours list for services to civil engineering. And not least, Don Moore, who was honoured with China’s Friendship Award for his contribution to water resource management in the country.
